Our Thoughts
This is without any doubt the most expensive nootropic that we have ever reviewed.. even if you sign up to the autoship program, you are still looking at $129 per month – a big financial commitment..
Whats more these Auto programs have the reputation for being very hard to cancel, we have heard many horror stories of people being charged for and shipped goods that they simply do not want for many months – One of our direct family had to literally close her bank acct and move banks to stop an unscrupulous supplier repeatedly charging her card – she lost $100’s
Cost aside – as it’s not all about money, we took a good look at the formula, and to be frank we do have a few concerns.
The first concerns Noopept, this is a prescription only drug that outside the US is generally not allowed to be sold or bought from within your own country… it is still currently legal to buy from an outside country (as long as you have a prescription) and have it shipped in to your address… There are a number of suppliers in Asia for instance who sell Noopept on line, but beware, there are some who make a killing by scamming people, selling weak or inferior products…
Also the makers decision to use both Cognizin citicoline and Alpha GPC is a bit confusing.. they are usually used in nootropic supplements as stand alone ingredients, they both perform similar tasks in the brain and it’s (we understand) not considered the norm to have both in the same supplement… there is another factor to consider too, Alpha GPC has limited testing behind it that currently only involves lab rats and mice, where as Cognizin citicoline has lots of solid human testing behind it…
The inclusion of Huperzine A is another concern…recently some responsible supplement manufacturers have removed it from their formulas due to reports that it is only considered safe to be taken regularly for short periods of time.. although it can be highly effective, experts tell us that regular use of over 10-12 weeks could possible cause health problems, and therefore is not suitable for everyday supplementation…
With nootropics providing best results when used on a mid-long term basis, it’s not really wise to take anything with Huperzine A in the mix…
Conclusion
Qualia is a very expensive and in our opinion over-formulated supplement, whats more who really wants to take 9 large (horse pills**) capsules every morning ( **not our words, but an independent user)
That said, there are some decent ingredients in the mix, and if you do have deep pockets, here is a good chance that you will experience some reasonable results.. But the facts are that there are some great nootropic products available here in Australia that will provide exactly the same benefits without breaking the bank, or by using banned or potentially risky ingredients..
